Samsung’s Galaxy S8 Might Be Coming Sooner Than Expected

Once the Note 7 recall and mishaps have become old news, there still is next year’s flagship coming our way with the Galaxy S8. Samsung is working to turn around their bad situation so that they can be in a more positive tone soon. There have been rumors that Samsung will be moving up their timeframe for the Galaxy S8 from the March/April months it is usually in.

An analyst for KB Investment & Securities stated:

“If Samsung’s flagship smartphone launch is delayed to the end of the first quarter of next year, the profitability of the mobile business division could be worsened next year”

With the bad press about the Note 7 recall, you shouldn’t be shocked to see if the phone were to be announced a month or two earlier than normal. Insiders reporting to SamMobile have revealed new model numbers for the Galaxy S8. These include the SM-G950 and the SM-G955. One of them will be carrying a smaller screen and the other will be similar to the S7 and S7 Edge. Both phones may have an Edge display as well.
