A new teaser image has confirmed the launch of the Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch. The main press conference for it will be at the IFA event on September 1. Not much is known about the S3, but last year’s ran on Tizen OS. It should be available in three versions: Gear S3 Classic, Gear S3 Frontier, and Gear S3 Explorer.
The Explorer edition should have a crown, additional buttons, and changeable bands. All versions should have sensors such as an integrated GPS, a speedometer, a barometer, and an altimeter. Just like the Gear S2, it should be IP68 certified and carry a heart rate monitor.
